Sprok Antal 1955-ben született Nagymágocson. A fa iránti szeretete már fiatal korában megmutatkozott. A gimnázium elvégzése után a soproni Erdészeti és Faipari Egyetem Faipari Mérnöki Karára járt, s itt szerzett diplomát. Csongrádon dolgozott a helyi bútorgyár gyártmányfejlesztőjeként, mejd Budapesten a Magyar Állam Operaház műterem-vezető scenikusaként is. Közel tíz évig egy volt diáktársával egyedi megrendelésre készítettek bútorokat, ám 1997-től egyedül teszi mindezt. Tagja a Magyar Alkotóművészek Országos Egyesületének, és alapító tagja a Magyar Belsőépítészek Egyesületének. Munkái bejárták a nagyvilágot: többek között Ausztriából, Belgiumból, Finnországból, de az Egyesült Államokból is rendeltek egyedi szoborbútoraiból. Az művész a július 29-én a németországi Künzelsauban nyíló kiállítására készül. A nagyrészt bútorfunkciójú alkotásait november 1-jéig láthatja a közönség a Hirschwirtscheuer Múzeumban. A Hirschwirtscheuer Múzeum Künzelsauban található, ami Stuttgarttól kicsit észak-keletre van. A Hirschwirtschauer Museum pedig az Európa több városában is jelen lévő "Kunst bei WÜRTH" egyik múzeuma.
